The Pharmacy Group Symposium adheres to and has completed the COVID Safe Event Checklist, Category Three Event for indoor events of up to 500 people per day.

Check in to the symposium each day using a QR code (this will be available at the check-in area at the venue)

Check in to the social functions and ensure that any guests accompanying you also check in

Observe physical distancing (1.5m) where possible

Wear a mask in situations where you may not be able to maintain physical distancing or if you are moving through areas where lots of people are gathered. We recommend keeping a mask with you, so that if you find yourself in one of these situations, you have some added protection

Please adhere to the limits in public spaces such as lifts, toilets and other facilities
Session seating will be arranged to ensure 1.5m distancing; maintaining physical distancing requirements is your responsibility
One-way traffic routing, with separate entry and exit points, will be set up for registration and session queuing
Physical distancing markers will be placed at queuing areas such as food service and registration
Staff monitoring of traffic flow and distancing will occur

Hand sanitiser will be available at hygiene stations throughout the symposium venue
Disinfection of seating and touchpoints will be conducted on a frequent basis
Increased cleaning of symposium spaces and handrails will be conducted

You or a member of your household has travelled to a COVID-19 hotspot in Australia in the past 14 days

COVID-19 SAFE GUIDELINES

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia is committed to the health and safety of symposium delegates. In order to protect delegates from the spread of COVID-19 and to take into account Stage 3 Queensland Government restrictions, the following measures will be put in place:


1. Personal safety – each delegate will be provided with a pack containing hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes and a mask. In addition to this, the venue will conduct regular cleaning of the venue spaces and equipment. Sanitation stations will also be available throughout the venue.
2. Physical distancing – session seating will be set up to follow the 4 square metres per person rule. Social functions will also comply with these rules.

3. Adherence to the COVID Safe Event Checklist – this is for events of up to 500 people and addresses the risks associated with the potential transmission of COVID-19.
