EVENT DETAILS

The Pharmacy Groups Symposium is an inaugural event designed to bring together key senior stakeholders from Pharmacy Brands/Banner Groups with representatives from the Pharmacy Guild, to support medium and long term planning to maintain the patient benefits driven from community pharmacy.

Hosted by the Pharmacy Guild, attendance at the event is by invitation only.

The symposium will be held from 28 - 30 October 2024 at Intercontinental Sydney Double Bay.

Symposium sessions will run on Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 October. 

Admission to the symposium is by invitation only. The maximum attendees per Pharmacy Group is four delegates.

When a meeting is held under the Chatham House Rule, participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speakers, nor that of any other participant, may be revealed. For further information on the Chatham House Rule visit

REGISTRATION

In order to register, you must enter a pre-supplied registration code which has been emailed to you. If you have been invited to attend the event but have not received this code, please email kos.sclavos@guild.org.au.

The registration fee is $1,980 including GST per person. This includes:

• Access to symposium sessions on Tuesday 29 & Wednesday 30 October
• Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea on Tuesday 29 & Wednesday 30 October
• 1 x Welcome Reception ticket
• 1 x Symposium Dinner ticket

Yes, extra tickets to both the Welcome Reception and the Symposium Dinner can be purchased online with your registration. Additional Welcome Reception tickets can be purchased for $100 each and additional Symposium Dinner tickets for $165 each.

A confirmation of registration and tax invoice will be issued to your email address on submission of registration. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your ‘junk’ or ‘spam’ folders and check that the email address you provided when registering is correct. No, your name badge and function tickets will be available for collection from the Registration Desk onsite on arrival at the symposium.

ACCOMMODATION AND TRAVEL

Yes. Special rates have been negotiated with Intercontinental Sydney Double Bay for delegates. Bookings must be made through the event organisers to receive these special rates. Please visit the Registration page for more information.

Valet parking available at a daily rate of $77 per car (2.0m entry height). Guests may self-park at Wilsons Parking located adjacent to the hotel (2.0m entry height).
